This is not a good thing for pregnant mothers because it can result to folic acid deficiency which may cause abnormal development of the baby. This is why it is advised that pregnant and lactating women eliminate green tea from their diet.
It is important that people who drink green tea be very careful. There is no clear recommended dosage so it is very easy for a person to drink more than what he should. So, be sure that you consult your physician before you start taking green tea.
